Tasting notes

This barrel aged beer is a complex, punchy, wild sour barrel ale. Crisp and fresh, pair wth food to discover its layers of flavour.

Brewer’s notes

This beer pushes the boundaries and palate. It is amazingly complex and funky. It has an assertive, sour character from an acetic acid realm that make this very tart. The majority of the sourness comes from lactic acid, which gives a lemon-y, smooth base of sourness.

Aged in barrels for five to six years, the oak is a subtle layer on top of the rest of the elements. The malt shines through in this beer, which makes it very delicious, with the complexity of each sip leaving you wanting more.
