Tasting notes

2025 Cabernet grapes from our friends at Robert Stein Winery are on full display in this pink, bubbly lager. Delicate notes of berries and sweet flowers effervesce out of the glass, as the Cabernet juice and Enigma hops combine to create a unique and delightful blend.

As our winemaker friends’ old saying goes: “It takes a lot of great beer to make great wine” - why not join them?

Brewer’s Notes

It was a fun and interesting task when Jacob Stein asked if we could collaborate and make a grape ale just for them. I’m always up for a challenge - and having a low(er) ABV grape ale was certainly a challenge, because of the grape juice fermentation process.

A thoughtful choice of malts, yeast and brewing methods meant we could keep enough body and mouthfeel to remind you it’s a beer and keep our ABV in check too. For me, other than being delicious, this beer was a fun one to make - it’s always a joy to expand our knowledge, experience and creativity.
